Ingredients

1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Add Chicken: Place the chicken thighs into the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill/Pan: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill or sauté the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

Glaze: In the last few minutes of cooking, brush some of the remaining marinade onto the chicken for a sticky glaze. Be careful not to let it burn.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill or skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
