Ingredients

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 cup refried beans (canned or homemade)

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa

1 cup guacamole

4 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Crumbled tortilla chips (for crunch, optional)

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken with olive oil and taco seasoning. Mix well and set aside.

Warm the Tortillas: Heat the flour tortillas in a large skillet over medium heat for about 20-30 seconds on each side or until they become soft and pliable. Remove from heat.

Layer the Ingredients: One at a time, place each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread each layer as follows:

        - Start with a layer of refried beans (1/4 cup).

          - Add a layer of seasoned chicken (1/2 cup).

            - Place a generous layer of cooked rice (1/4 cup).

              - Add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese (2 tablespoons).

                - Drizzle sour cream (2 tablespoons) over the cheese.

                  - Spoon salsa (2 tablespoons) onto the layers.

                    - Finally, add a generous scoop of guacamole (2 tablespoons).

Add Crunch (Optional): For added texture, sprinkle crumbled tortilla chips on top of the guacamole.

Roll the Burritos: Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom. Place seam-side down on a serving plate.

Grill (Optional): If desired, heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grill each burrito for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro or sliced green onions, and cut the burritos in half to reveal the layers. Serve with extra salsa or sour cream on the side.
