1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

3 oz pepperoni slices

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles as per the perforation.

      In a small bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

        Place a generous tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wider end of each crescent dough triangle.

          Carefully roll the dough from the wide end towards the point, encasing the filling securely. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

            Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed up.

              Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
