Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on a clean surface or parchment paper.

Assemble the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until evenly distributed.

Fill the Croissants: Place a generous tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough starting from the wide end, tucking in the filling as you go. Pinch the ends to seal the filling inside.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg with a fork. Brush the tops of each croissant roll with the egg wash to get a golden finish when baked.

Bake: Place the croissant rolls on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave space between each one to allow for puffing. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh chopped parsley.

Serve: Serve the mozzarella pepperoni croissant rolls warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
