Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and no longer pink in the center. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in dried basil, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Cook the Pasta: While the sauce is simmering, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Combine: Slice the cooked chicken and add it back into the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.

Serve: Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
