Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (packed in oil)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and bring the sauce to a simmer.

Add Cheese: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Combine: Slice the seared chicken and add it to the sauce, along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated with the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and add extra Parmesan if desired. Enjoy your delicious Marry Me Chicken Pasta!
