Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust for spiciness)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cut the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, roughly 1-inch pieces, ensuring they are even for uniform cooking.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon bites in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Gently toss the salmon to coat evenly. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the marinated salmon bites in a single layer; don’t overcrowd the pan. Sear for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on one side.

Bake the Salmon: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the salmon for an additional 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for an added crunch and color. Serve the hot honey salmon bites immediately as an appetizer or main dish.
