Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 lb baby potatoes, halved

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: chili flakes (for a spicy kick)

Instructions

Prepare the Potatoes: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the halved baby potatoes and cook until fork-tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and let them dry.

Sear the Potatoes: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes cut side down and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip the potatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak Bites: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow it to melt, then add minced garlic and paprika. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Sear the Steak: Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until your desired doneness. Avoid overcrowding the skillet; cook in batches if needed.

Combine Everything: Once the steak bites are cooked, return the crispy potatoes to the skillet. Toss everything in the garlic butter sauce until well coated and heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley and optional chili flakes for heat. Serve immediately and enjoy this delightful dish!
