Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 tablespoons chili paste (adjust for heat preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

4 cups chicken broth

2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard flavor packets)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon miso paste

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, thinly sliced

1 cup baby spinach

1 large egg (optional, for topping)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a small bowl, combine chili paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs, making sure they are well-coated in the marinade. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken thighs and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest, then slice into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the Ramen Broth: In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Stir in miso paste and crushed red pepper flakes, mixing well to combine.

Cook the Ramen Noodles: Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes). During the last minute of cooking, add the baby spinach.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a separate skillet, lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well, and add some of the garlic broth from the ramen pot to loosen the sauce. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Combine and Serve: Divide the ramen noodles and broth into bowls. Top with sliced chicken, a swirl of creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with green onions. For an extra touch, add a soft-boiled egg on top.

Enjoy: Serve hot, and enjoy your Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce!
