Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sriracha (adjust for heat preference)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and fresh parsley (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the firecracker sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha. Stir until the sauce is heated through and well mixed.

Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a mixing bowl or serving dish. Pour the firecracker sauce over the hot meatballs and toss gently to coat evenly.

Serve the firecracker meatballs warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired. Enjoy them as an appetizer, party snack, or main dish!
