Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless, cut into bite-sized cubes

1/3 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, cornstarch, black pepper, and salt until smooth. Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow it to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Prepare for Cooking: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Make sure the pan is hot enough to get a crispy crust on the salmon.

Cook the Salmon: Carefully add the marinated salmon bites to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden and crispy. Gently flip the salmon bites and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until cooked through and caramelized.

Glaze the Salmon: Pour any remaining marinade over the salmon bites in the pan, allowing it to bubble and thicken for about 1-2 minutes, coating the salmon well.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon bites from the heat. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately while still crispy.
