8 oz elbow macaroni

2 cups cooked chicken, diced

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

2 cups milk

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced cooked chicken and sauté for about 5 minutes until heated through. Add honey, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the chicken to soak in the flavors.

      Make the Cheese Sauce: In a separate large saucepan, combine the milk and cream cheese over medium heat. Stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Gradually add in the sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

        Combine: Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring well to coat. Then, gently fold in the honey pepper chicken mixture until evenly distributed.

          Bake (Optional): If you prefer a baked version, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased casserole dish, top with extra cheese if desired, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

            Serve: Remove from the oven (if baked) and let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
