8 oz rotini pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

    Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
