Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

½ cup chopped green onions

1 cup salsa (for dipping)

Optional: sour cream and guacamole for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add Seasoning: Stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions for adding water. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until well combined.

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the crescent roll dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing the seams to seal and create a uniform rectangle.

Add Filling: Spread the taco meat mixture evenly over the dough. Then sprinkle the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, and green onions over the top.

Roll the Dough: Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough up to enclose the filling, trying to keep it tight but not overly compressed.

Slice the Roll: Use a sharp knife to cut the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces and arrange them on the baking sheet.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Serve: Allow the sticks to cool slightly, then serve warm with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole for dipping.
