Ingredients

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup milk

4 large eggs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Powdered sugar (for serving)

Fresh lemon wedges (for serving)

Optional toppings: fresh fruits (berries, bananas, apples), syrup, or whipped cream

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Melt the Butter: In a 10-inch oven-safe skillet or baking dish, melt the butter over medium heat on the stovetop until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.

Combine: Pour the batter into the skillet over the melted butter. Do not stir; the butter will rise to the edges.

Bake: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and add any desired toppings like fresh fruits or syrup.

Slice & Enjoy: Cut into wedges and serve warm.
